Anita Briem has been an actress in Iceland for over 20 years. Anita Breim is an actor from Iceland. Briem was nine when she first began performing at Iceland's National Theater. She participated as a child in numerous radio and television productions, shows and productions throughout Iceland. When she was 16, Briem relocated to London to take part in an event for the theatre of the play Lenin in Love in The New End Theater. At 19 years of age, Briem was accepted at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, where she studied for three years. There she received a diploma in drama as well as an award called the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight. He participated in many plays during his time at RADA, such as The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House, written by Federico Garcia Lorca.
